We like and prefer the North Rim. We hiked out Widforss Point so it's our favorite overlook! Its extremely quiet with less than a dozen folks at any given time.

I've yet to make it out to Widforss. Added that to my list for next time! Just checked out the photos and looks pretty great.

I painted from this vantage point. I was the only one there for two whole hours. Please do check it out on the website. I have painted all 63 national parks on location. This was one of my great highlights. Fassbindergallery.com

Hey Mary! Beautiful work. So many memories in those paintings I'm sure. My personal favorites in the national parks series are the Wind Cave piece, Bear Lake at RMNP, & Tipsoo at Rainier. Do you plan to continue the national parks series?

Hey Will,

Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate your national parks stories.

I'm focusing now on publishing my book of stories while painting in every Park.

I'm currently on the adventure of looking for an agent for these epic stories. Just occurs to me that you might have somebody in your back pocket to connect me with.

I teach and paint locally in Northern California so I'll be hunkering down here for a bit. My thought is to tackle all the state parks in California.

Keep sharing your adventures.

That's so cool! Sounds like a great project. Unfortunately I don't have any literary agents in my back pocket (yet) - as we haven't yet traversed that crevasse but will keep you in mind should I come across one.

Look forward to seeing more of your work!

Will
