Carter was great. I was just becoming an adult and his administration put many community development grants out. I was able to win two that I worked over two years. Because of that experience, I have spent 50 years in community development in paid and non-paid work.
Carter lost to Reagan. The feeling was replicated when Trump replaced Obama in the executive.
These two contrasting leadership sets should make us all more wary about our way of choosing leaders.
