I had the misfortune of watching President Trump’s speech at the UN yesterday. The rambling and the lies were expected. What surprised me was how much time he spent ranting about the supposed scourge of renewable energy and his backwards cartoon version of environmentalists. I don’t normally use this space to write about speeches, but I thought it was important to remind you: this is the man dismantling your inheritance, one executive order at a time.
Now let’s be honest, nobody thought Donald Trump was going to walk into the United Nations and deliver a serious speech. This is the guy who twice tried to buy Greenland, floated nuking hurricanes, and spent four years running public lands like a toddler with a box of matches. Of course he was going to embarrass us.
