It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like...Gift Guides
Do you hear what I hear? It's the sound of happy campers who got the right gifts.
Hey Folks,
Jim here, hoping everyone has a great Thanksgiving this week! Speaking of which, you know what that means here in America, that’s right, capitalism at it’s finest – Black Friday!
Of course Black Friday at this point has consumed the week surrounding Thanksgiving, but I’m not necessarily mad about the additional opportunities to save money.
Oh What Fun It Is To Save
Now if you know me you know that I’m the kind of person who likes to get a deal (aren’t we all?). Of course I also want the right tool for the job, and if that means this not-cheap Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket that I swear by, then so be it.
Black Friday is a time when we can buy the more expensive things we’ve been wanting/needing all year and excuse the hole left in our bank account by recounting the savings incurred. So with that in mind it’s time for me to trot out this year’s gift guides for your humble consideration.
Now of course we get a meager kickback on most of these items, but we don’t shill for anyone at More Than Just Parks (which is why you won’t see us shamelessly hawking personalized discount codes and ridiculous products on social media like so many others). The items on our gift guides are handpicked by us for the sole reason that we like them and think you will too.
National Parks Gift Guide
Our National Parks Gift Guide is the standard-bearer for gift guides here at MTJP. It’s also without a doubt the most definitive national parks gift guide on the internet. You’ll see some others in a Google search, but I find they’re mostly filled with junk products.
From clothing to equipment to games and home decor, I can assure you we have the best national park-themed items in exsistence in this guide. So check it out, there are savings to be had afterall! Oh, and our #1 item is 30% off right now, just saying.
Camping Gift Guide
This guide is centered around camping items like tents, sleeping bags, lighting, camp stoves, and that sort of thing. It’s also filled with some really unique items that take your campsite to the next level.
Hiking Gift Guide
Think boots, socks, pants, backpacks, jackets, bear prevention, and an assortment of unique items that we’ve found take our hiking game up a notch.
Don’t Be A Grinch This Year
Look at that disappointed kid. He’s not what we’d call a happy camper. And if only you’d gone to our gift guide and looked over the kids section. He wanted binoculars Mom & Dad, come on.
The Latest From the Brothers
It’s Thanksgiving! Time to watch football and eat turkey. Oh, and Go Dawgs!

My Closing Thoughts
Please tell my younger brother Tom that it’s not Thanksgiving without turkey. That is all.
